Fits: Importers and wholesalers
Trade and import finance to help you pay suppliers before your customers pay you.
Geddes Capital provides trade finance facilities that bridge the gap between paying your suppliers and receiving payment from your customers. If you import goods or buy stock in bulk, they can fund the purchase order so you do not have to use your own cash. The facility is secured against the goods being purchased.
Importers and wholesalers who buy stock in bulk from local or international suppliers. Particularly useful for businesses with large confirmed orders but not enough cash to fund the purchase upfront.
Service businesses or retailers who buy stock in small quantities from local suppliers. The minimum facility size and transaction complexity make this unsuitable for very small purchases. Not a fit for businesses without confirmed buyer demand.

Standard SA lender paperwork: recent business bank statements, CIPC company documents and director IDs. Larger amounts usually also need management accounts or financial statements. The exact list depends on the product and the amount.
The rate and terms are Geddes Capital’s own either way. Applying through Frank means your business is first checked against the whole panel, so you can see whether Geddes Capital is the best fit before you commit, and a consultant takes the application forward with you.
No. You are never charged for using Frank. If you are funded, Geddes Capital pays Frank a referral fee. The fee is the same whichever lender you choose, so it never changes the rate or terms you are offered.
Check your business
It takes about a minute and there is no credit check. Frank checks your answers against every lender’s rules and shows you what fits and what does not. When you choose a lender, Frank sends them your application on the answers you have already given.
